MEET MIKE
I attended Cape Fear Tech
of Wilmington North Carolina and became a certified welder in 2009.
I progressed to blacksmithing in 2012,
becoming an apprentice smith and eventually a journeyman in ornamental ironwork at the historic Poplar Grove Plantation.
I began my career at the Heirloom Companies in 2016 as an artist smith and fabricator.
As of 2021,
I perform high-end fabrication and ornamental/architectural metal work at my personal studio in Landrum, SC.

This is the second railing Mike has created for my home. He takes the time to understand your vision and add his artistic interpretation to his final piece. Every aspect of this railing is well thought out and beautifully crafted . I’m an interior designer and Mike, bar none, is the best I have ever encountered in my 30 year career.
